Hudson's Baby Blessing

Heavenly Father, by the power of the Melchizedek Priesthood we bring this baby… We give him a name: Hudson Martin Hassell. Hudson at this time we bless you. We bless you that you will be able to grow up strong and healthy. We bless you that you will have the energy to fulfill the responsibilities you have, to be successful at learning the gospel, serving in the church, and learning what you need to in school. We bless you that you will carry forward your happy disposition and that you will share the joy that you have with others, uplifting others. We bless you that you will have a desire to study the gospel and to learn about the life of our Savior. That you will develop a love for Jesus Christ, and have a desire to follow Him above all else. We bless you that you will be able to learn what you need to and prepare to make covenants and commitments to the Lord. We bless you that you will be kind to others; that you will be one who reaches out to lift others and help others and stand up for those who need extra help. Hudson, we leave this blessing upon you in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
